Corby Bilderback -
Program
Director
I
began my career with Tacoma Learning Center in
September of 1992 as a Family Services Specialist
and have worn many hats since. I came to TLC with a
Degree in Human Services and during the next four
years earned a BA degree in Counseling Psychology.
In March of 2000 I accepted a new position as part
of TLC’s management team. I learned much during
those 6 years that further prepared me to accept the
position of Program Director in January of 2006. I
have so appreciated my years at Tacoma Learning
Center and the wonderful families and dedicated
staff it has been a privilege to know. I am proud
to continue my work to advocate for children and
families in Pierce County while providing exemplary
early learning opportunities here at TLC.

Early Childhood Special Educator
Hey there! I am so excited to be the newest
addition to the team here at Tacoma Learning Center.
I will be working as an Early Childhood Special
Educator. I moved to this area from my home in
Lexington, Kentucky about a month ago, and love
every part of the Pacific Northwest so far. I
graduated in December 2006 from the University of
Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. I have
a strong passion for working with young children and
their families. I love the idea of empowering
families to learn more about their children and have
made that a daily goal of mine. Children grow and
develop with such tenacity and vigor, which is so
exciting to watch and be apart of. I greatly
appreciate the time I get to spend with each and
every family. Thank you so much for this wonderful
opportunity!!!
