CHILD

Christy has a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University/LIOS. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington and a volunteer CASA for Pierce County.

Christy draws upon a number of different counseling approaches to meet the individual needs of children, families, couples and individuals with an emphasis on a systemic approach. She specializes in working with issues including: self-esteem, identity, and assertiveness. She also works with victims of childhood abuse/neglect, sexual assault, impact of divorce on children and marital/couple counseling as well as childhood behavioral concerns.

Christy also co-facilitates Impact of Divorce on Children Classes and is the clinical team leader for the Esteem Team and Teen Esteem programs.
